Duthus Lodge Guest House Edinburgh

The room was spacious and had a nice view overlooking the garden. the furnishing was modern and there was a huge smart TV. Location was great, just a 10-minute walk from the tram station and there was a bus stop right outside. the Wi-Fi was fast and the continental breakfast was decent.

The bathroom is located in a different room and not within the room itself, which could be inconvenient. the shower and tap water pressure was weak and there were no curtains or partitions for the bathtub, making it a bit tricky to shower without splashing water on the floor.

During my stay at Duthus Lodge, I was greeted by a friendly host who made me feel right at home. The delicious breakfast she prepared each morning was a delightful start to my day. The room was comfortable and the house itself was beautifully designed. The location was perfect, just a short 15-minute walk to the city center, making it convenient for exploring without needing to take a bus. The host went above and beyond to help me in any situation, and I am truly thankful for her hospitality. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Duthus Lodge and would definitely return.

We had a great stay at this guest house. Our room was bright, clean, and had a comfy bed. The bathroom was also very clean. The hotel facilities included a good size smart TV and fast broadband. The staff, particularly Mrs. Wioletta, were fantastic, providing exceptional service. They were very helpful with our car parking issue. The location was also convenient, being a nice 20-minute walk away from the city centre. It was close to the tram stop, making it easy to travel around.

I loved the location of this place, it was in a nice area with easy access to the centre for exploring. The staff were great, providing service housekeeping and tours/ticket assistance. The room amenities were satisfying with heating and tea and coffee facilities. The sitting area was comfortable and free wi-fi was available in rooms. The garden furniture was also a plus point.

This venue is highly recommended to all for a comfortable and pleasurable stay.

We loved the friendly staff, especially the manager, Carena, who went above and beyond to accommodate our large family group. The clean and comfortable rooms were perfect for low-budget travellers like us. The guest sitting room was a bonus, allowing us to easily meet up with our family. The location was ideal for attending a family christening in Murrayfield and exploring the city center on foot.

Felt like our own home, no complaints.
